I am a Postdoctoral Fellow in the philosophy department at the University of Cincinnati. Before this, I was a Postdoctoral Research Scholar with the Initiative in Ancient and Contemporary Philosophy at Columbia University.

I am interested in cause, explanation, and priority in Aristotle's metaphysics. Aristotle is famous for distinguishing four kinds of cause, the material, formal, efficient, and final. However, he also distinguished several kinds of priority. In current work, I explore how Aristotle's theories on cause and explanation might be related to his thoughts on priority. â€‹â€‹â€‹
